Our studio is how you avoid that nightmare. We’ve already bought the equipment. And we’ll teach you how to use it for free with your rental.

Your studio rental includes

  • Godox AD 600 Pro Strobes with flash trigger for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji cameras.

  • Soft boxes (ranging from 20” to 84”), beauty dishes, strip banks, umbrellas, zoom reflectors, and nearly all of these options have removable grids. We also have silver and gold reflectors as well as black or white V-flats for rent.

  • Our ceilings are 12’ high, plenty high to get that light boomed in there! Cyc walls are 10’ high. White cyc wall measures 17' x 12', gray cyc wall is 9’ across, and then our 180° Green Screen Cove is 20” wide and 10’ deep.

 FAQs

  • No, but if you need one, visit our Find a Photographer page. This is a list of photographers we’re partnered with whom we personally recommend. Each is very familiar with our studio.

  • We share parking with a self-storage facility. Outside the office, there are 4 parking spots. If you are arriving in more than 3 cars, please anticipate needing to park behind the security gate. The office staff can open the gate, or the security code given to you will also open the gate. We can accommodate 40 cars behind the gate.

  • Absolutely. Our max occupancy is 32 people.

  • We have lots of furniture. Check out our Props Catalog to see what’s available. Some items are free and others can be rented for a small additional charge.

    We also have many costumes, clothing outfits and accessories not listed. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask.

  • Our photography / video studio can comfortably accommodate 40 people. There is an additional $35/hr charge for groups larger than 15 people.

  • Yes! You can bring in any food and drinks. But, if you bring it in, you are required to carry it out.

  • Yes! Wi-Fi password will be given at the time of your arrival or along with your security access code.

  • We have a 7 ft wide double door on the south side of the studio, right next to the parking lot for easy unloading and loading.

  • Yes. The area is indoors so for safety, an engine should be shut off promptly after entry.

  • This list is not exhaustive, but here are few of the prohibited items and activities:

    • No smoking, vaping, recreational or illicit drug use in the studio.

    • No glitter, fake snow, smoke bombs, aerosols or fire of any kind in studio.

    • No FULLY nude photography, videography, or explicit sexual activity.

    • No affixing anything to walls or backdrops including nailing, hanging or taping.

    • No children or pets shall go unsupervised.

    • The renter may not sublease the Studio to any third party.

    • Use the traction pad to clean feet/shoes prior to stepping on the cycloramas.

    • Do not walk on the curves of the cyclorama. You will be charged for damages.

    • No feet on the walls.

    • Respect your reserved time slot. Start & finish within your rental period.

    • Don't leave garbage or messes behind. If you bring it in, you carry it out.

    • Place sandbags on all light stands.

    • Please use our light stands (don’t bring yours). If you need > 4, talk to us.

    • Do not enter or use anything in the storage closet. It is video monitored.

  • Yes, we allow pets!

    We ask that you assume responsibility for your pet's safety. Please watch monitor your pets/keep them on a leash to ensure they don't damage any studio furniture or decor.

    We do ask that you bring appropriate cleaning supplies for any messes or hair left by the pet.

    If the studio is not left in the same condition it was prior to the renter’s reservation, renter agrees to pay a $150 cleaning fee.

  • You can change or cancel your Studio reservation with no additional charge at any time up to 24 hours before your reservation is set to begin by contacting us at (254) 228-3474.

  • 1. Acknowledgment of Risk:

    The Client understands and acknowledges that there are inherent risks associated with thephotography session, video session and/or band rehearsal room rental, including but not limited to physical injury, personal property damage, or loss, and agrees to assume all such risks.

    2. Release and Waiver of Liability:

    By signing this Waiver, the Client agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Studio from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, or causes of action, including those arising from negligence, that may arise out of or in connection with the rental session.

    3. Indemnification:

    The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Temple Star Studios from any claims, damages, or losses (including legal fees) that result from the Client’s participation in the rental session or the Client's violation of any terms of this Waiver.

    4. Health & Safety:

    The Client confirms that they are physically capable of participating in the photography session and will inform the Studio if there are any health conditions or restrictions that may affect their participation.

    5. Property Damage:

    The Client acknowledges that they are responsible for their own personal belongings and agrees to hold Temple Star Studios harmless from any damage, loss, or theft of personal property brought into the Studio.

    7. Governing Law:

    This Waiver will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

    8. Voluntary Agreement:

    The Client acknowledges that they have read and understood the terms of this Waiver and voluntarily agree to its terms. The Client acknowledges that they have been given the opportunity to ask questions and seek legal counsel if desired before signing.
